C size batteries (D25.5mm x H50mm) are wider and taller than SC (Sub-C) size (D22.5mm x H43mm). This larger volume allows C cells to offer significantly higher capacities (up to 5000mAh) compared to the max 3600mAh usually found in SC cells.
